…Moving Again

Preparing and Simplifying Our Home For Sale:

First we chose a moving company, then we requested shipping materials to do our own packing.
Packing is a huge job. My family helped with packing household items, and the big job of cleaning everything from kitchen cupboards to sliding door tracks.

Along with several household items and breakables, I packed a conglomeration of boxes which contained my bicycles, collectibles, art and modeling supplies. My scale models and dioramas required special wrapping and packaging. This was sometimes challenging. A large amount of flat art was put into ‘under bed’ plastic bins. My framed paintings were wrapped using a large four foot diameter roll of one inch bubble wrap and then placed into mover’s mirror boxes. Yikes, I’ve recorded and labeled 326 home and studio boxes in total.

The real estate sign is now up this morning on our front lawn. I ask for your prayers for a quick and good sale in this depressed market. Moving is always stressful, even though I realize a wonderful new adventure lies ahead!
